Teresa Bergen, an artist from the United States, has depicted Hindu Gods as animals. A series of such paintings are available on her website. She has painted Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma, Narad Muni and Lord Nataraja either as a cat or a dog. She claims that she has visualised them in these forms, during meditation.
