Six held in Hindu trader’s kidnapping case in Khuzdar, PAKISTAN

KHUZDAR, PAKISTAN: The Khuzdar police arrested here on Friday six persons for their alleged involvement in the kidnapping of a Hindu trader.

SHO City Police Station, Abdul Qadir Sheikh said the accused had been taken into custody from different parts of the district. He said the suspects were being interrogated, which would help secure safe release of the abducted trader.

Meanwhile, the Hindu community held protest demonstration against the incident of kidnapping and demanded of the government for early recovery of the abducted trader. Local traders also observed shutter down strike and joined the protest against increasing sense of insecurity among their community. Additional contingents of police and Balochistan Constabulary had been deployed to avoid any untoward situation.
