Dr. Dabholkar’s statement shows that the only purpose of ANiS getting this Act passed is to attack Hindu Dharma !

Learn about this bill: A Draconian law targeting faith

Mumbai – Astrologers cheat innocent people; therefore, I am against it at thought level. In the old draft of the Bill, even astrology was included; but MLAs from Congress and NCP had raised objection; therefore, in the new draft, astrology has been omitted, but let the Act be passed, then even the omitted clauses will be re-considered. The above false motive was disclosed by Dr. Narendra Dabholkar, the Chief Executive of Maharashtra Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANiS) in press conference held on 9th July. (Falsehood of Dabholkar who claims to be social reformist ! People should note how Dabholkar has been deceiving them in the name of eradication of superstitions and should oppose the anti-superstitions Act drafted by scheming Dabholkar ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat !)

Dr. Dabholkar said –
1] The Bill is most likely to be passed in the coming monsoon session of State Legislative Assembly; as the Chief Minister, Dy. Chief Minister and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs are in favour, it will come for discussion on the first day of the session. The Government should pass the Bill unanimously or on the basis of majority.
2] If the Bill is passed, the Government’s stand of progressiveness will shine and our small organisation, which was struggling to get this Act passed for past 25 years, will be victorious.
3] I cannot disclose the names of Warakaris who have supported the Act; those who want to know the names, can obtain them under RTI Act from the Government.
4] If the Act is not passed now, this will be my last press conference. (Hindus should pressurise the Government, in lawful manner, so that the anti-Hindu anti-superstitions Act is not passed and this will turn out to be the last press conference of Dabholkar ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Dr. Dabholkar was quiet with query of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’s reporter !

Shri. Nityanand Bhise, a reporter of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ said to Dabholkar that ‘You are trying to get sympathies by claiming time and again that the anti-superstitions Bill has completed 18 years and it is like a young person coming of age; in fact, out of 27 clauses in the proposed Act, there are 12 clauses after removal of wrong clauses at present, which means that at young age only, wrong ‘sanskars’ were inculcated in the child and now at 18 years, it is a spoilt child. Now, you are saying that let the Act be passed, then even the removed clauses would be re-considered. Wouldn’t this child turn into a terrorist? Dr. Dabholkar was stumped with this question. (Congratulations to ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’s reporter for asking Dr. Dabholkar a pertinent question ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Dr. Dabholkar tried to make amends by saying that the Act has been softened by removing some clauses; therefore, it is not a spoilt child. (Dr. Dabholkar may try to save his skin by giving explanations; but he should realise that people know the true nature of this Act and they are very wise ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Dabholkar flatly refuses to give definition of extra-sensory power as mentioned in the Act !

Shri. Bhise of Dainik Sanatan Prabhat asked Dr. Dabholkar another question that ‘the Act is based on only one word which is extra-sensory power. The synonyms of this word are faith, supernatural power, spiritual experience, sixth sense i.e. subtle organ etc. Out of the above, which thing can you prove in gross to show its trueness? Don’t try to mislead whole Maharashtra; first explain its definition. On that Dr. Dabholkar gave 1-2 difficult English words from medical field; so the reporter asked him how was he going to explain it to the ordinary people, why was he not explaining properly? Why don’t you explain the slight difference between faith and superstition?’ On this Dr. Dabholkar refused to answer and said that ‘It is my press conference. Here, I will decide what to speak. I will talk to you after the press conference. (If Dabholkar alone is going to decide what he is going to talk, what is the need to hold press conference? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) As a matter of fact, Dr. Dabholkar did not give answer to the questions asked by Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’s reporter after press conference. (It’s usual cowardice exhibited by Dabholkar ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Dabholkar says, “Act can be misused !”

Dr. Dabholkar said, “Shiv Sena and BJP are against this Act. Shri. Vinod Tawade, the opposition leader in Legislative Council asked me whether there was need for this Act and if this Act can be misused; to which I told him that retired Judge Chandrashekhar Dharmadhikari was of the opinion that for offences mentioned in this Act, there was no provision for stringent punishment in Indian Penal Code; therefore, there is need for a new law; but this Act can be misused. There are laws against oppression of women and anti-terrorism; those laws are also misused; so even this Act can be misused. The Government should create awareness amongst people towards this Act. (People should note that Dabholkar himself is saying that the Act can be misused; therefore, they should realise the harmful nature of this Act and oppose it with all their might ! –Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Try to understand the contention of Sanatan Sanstha and HJS about controversial Bill ! – insist journalists

As Dr. Dabholkar started evading questions asked by Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’s reporter, the other reporters insisted that why was he not trying to understand the points raised by Sanatan Sanstha and HJS? Dr. Dabholkar said that Ajit Pawar had tried for the same when he was also present. In that meeting, the points presented by these organisations were not realistic. (Those, who are bent upon passing the Act, are bound to feel the points raised as improper ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
