Bring out the warrior spirit in yourself for the victory of Dharma (Righteousness) and cross the border !

Vijayadashami (Dushehra) is the day of victory of Dharma for the Hindus. On this day, Shri Durgadevi and Prabhu Shriram killed the demons Mahishasur and Ravan and destroyed the demoniacal (Unrighteous) powers on earth.
On this day, in the costume of Bruhannada, Arjun asked the son of King Virat to steer his chariot, while he took out the weapons from the hollow of a Shami tree and brought out his warrior spirit.
After this, he crossed the border of the kingdom and defeated the Kourav army (that had many stalwarts) for the victory of Dharma (Righteousness).
Hence, this day not only signifies the victory of Dharma but also signifies crossing the border of the country for the victory of Dharma.
The battle between Dharma and adharma (Unrighteousness) has been going on since times immemorial. Depending on the era, sometimes the righteous people are victorious and some-times the unrighteous ones.
Today too, the battle between Dharma and adharma has reached its heights. For the Hindu society that has faced defeats continuously over the last few centuries, the forthcoming period is favourable for the victory of Dharma.
We should not be complacent that just because time is favourable for us, we will be victorious. We will have to bring out the warrior spirit in ourselves like Arjun did.
If the Hindu society understands the need of the hour and exhibits its valour and crosses the border of its land for victory of Dharma, this year’s Vijayadashami would be considered to have become worthwhile.
