Mumbai : In ‘Dharma-shikshan’ class held on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Chembur, devout Hindus were explained about denigration of Deities taking place through pictures displayed on tiles of building walls. After creating awareness, such tiles were removed. Devout Hindus realized that tiles with pictures of Deities were fixed on walls of some residential societies like ‘Ameya Apartment’ in ‘Mukti Nagar Colony’, ‘Satyabhama Hotel’ and Ashirvad Hospital. They met Shri. Bhushan Mule of ‘Satyabhama Hotel’, Dr. Milind Ruke of ‘Ashirvad Hospital’ and Chairman of Ameya Apartment, submitted representations and explained the topic to them. After such awareness was created, 15 tiles were removed immediately and were immersed in water. HJS’ Shri. Sanjay Neharkar, Ravindra Talape, Manoj Kanaskar, Hanumant Manjarekar, Sandip Prajapati, Kishore Auty, Shankarrao Manjarekar, Babu Manake, Rahul Bangar, Kiran Halgiri, Hemant Karande, Tanmay Dhotre, Devendra Parab, Avinash Chavan etc. took part in the drive of creating awareness.
